Robin Kuijs

Robin Kuijs Photographer

A photographer based in the Netherlands, Robin Kuijs was born on March 19, 1978.

Robin Kuijs' love for photography started when his grandfather left him his Pentax spotmatix when he died. Since then he had been doing landscape photography, first as a hobby then as an amateur photographer for several publications. He enjoys documenting his travels around Europe and Asia through photos of places and people.

Although he graduated with a degree in molecular biology, his love for photography has not taken a setback. After completing his masters in the Philippines, he stayed for a couple of years and took the job of editor and chief photographer for Take Off Magazine, a local travel and avaition magazine in the Philippines. He had covered places like Palawan, Mindoro, Samar, Palaui Island, Isabela, among others, for his stories. He was also a freelance photographer for Manila Standard Today, one of Philippines national English paper, covering travel and lifestyle events, including beauty and fashion shows, food and cultural events.

Back in the Netherlands, his home country, he is committed to hone his skills even more. He attends photography workshops, the latest of which is with the famous Dutch photographer Govert De Roos who inspired him to take better pictures.

He takes photos whenever he can. Lately he is discovering glamour and wedding photography and continously practicing to become the best photographer that he can be.

If you want to get in touch with him, please send a message through his contact page.
